Chandigarh, June 25:
The All India Brahmin Federation has demanded an independent investigation into the death of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari. The Federation’s National President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti, National General Secretary Yashpal Tiwari, Chief Advisor Padam Prakash Sharma, Treasurer Advocate Keshav Rao Kondapalli, Senior Office Bearer Shekhar Shukla, and other national office-bearers of the organization have written to the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister of Bihar, urging a thorough inquiry into the matter.
According to the letter, Bharat Tiwari, a 28-year-old social media activist from Bhojpur district in Bihar, was allegedly raising issues such as floods, displacement, and corruption in the lower administrative machinery. The matter came to light following a complaint filed by his mother, Asha Devi. The police administration has stated that strict action will be taken against those found guilty after the investigation.
Several issues were discussed during the Federation’s National Executive Committee meeting held at Century Club in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Expressing concern over the circumstances surrounding Bharat Tiwari’s death, the Federation called for an independent investigation and stated that all actions taken by law enforcement agencies must remain within the framework of law, judicial procedures, and established regulations.
In a joint statement, the Federation’s office-bearers demanded a comprehensive, independent, transparent, and impartial investigation into all aspects of the incident. The Federation also called for accountability and legal action against any individual found guilty following the inquiry.
