
Agra, July 6, The National Executive Council meeting of the All India Brahmin Federation (AIBF) was successfully held on Sunday in Agra under the chairmanship of Dr. Pradeep Jyoti.
AIBF National General Secretary and President of the Punjab Brahmin Sabha, Pandit Yashpal Tiwari, informed that more than 200 delegates from 23 states participated in the meeting. The representatives held detailed discussions on various issues concerning the Brahmin community and took several decisions regarding the implementation of organizational activities in accordance with the demands of community representatives.
Dr. Pradeep Jyoti stated that the first meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee was held at Kurnool, Hyderabad, where the AIBF office-bearers were elected under the supervision of Pandit Shekhar Shukla, President of the Punjab Brahmin Sabha. Pandit Shukla had been unanimously appointed online as the Election Officer, and his appointment was ratified during the meeting held in Vijayawada on April 26, 2026.
Under his transparent and impartial supervision, Dr. Pradeep Jyoti was unanimously elected as National President, Pandit Yashpal Tiwari as National General Secretary, Advocate Kondapalli Keshav Rao as National Treasurer, Mrs. N. Malini as President of the Women’s Wing, K. M. Naveen Kumar as President of the Youth Wing, and Umadhar Pathak as Secretary (Administration). The newly elected President, Dr. Jyoti, was also authorized to appoint the remaining office-bearers.
Dr. Jyoti further informed that, as per the decisions taken during the meeting, the AIBF bank account has been transferred from Amritsar to Hyderabad, the signatures of the newly authorized signatories have been registered with the bank, and the details of the newly elected Executive Committee have been submitted to the District Registrar of Societies, Visakhapatnam, for official record and uploading.
Presenting this information, National General Secretary Pandit Yashpal Tiwari placed the proposal before the house, which was unanimously approved by representatives from across the country. National Treasurer Advocate Keshav Rao presented the financial report, stating that substantial expenditure is being incurred on various legal cases pending in different courts. He proposed that funds be withdrawn from the AIBF fixed deposit as required to meet these legal expenses. The proposal was unanimously approved by all members present.
Representatives from all states presented reports on their respective activities, programmes, and future plans.
AIBF Chief Advisor and former National General Secretary Pandit Padam Prakash Sharma suggested that adequate financial support be provided to the newly elected National General Secretary to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization’s office. The National President was duly authorized to take the necessary action in this regard.
AIBF Women’s Wing President Mrs. N. Malini thanked all delegates from various states, with special appreciation for Umadhar Pathak, for the successful organization of the National Executive Council meeting.
Representatives from across the country participated in detailed discussions on issues concerning youth, adolescents, senior citizens, and women of the Brahmin community. Several important resolutions were adopted, and National President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti and National General Secretary Pandit Yashpal Tiwari were authorized to take further action for their implementation.
