The Newly Elected Executive Committee of Brahmin Federation Took Oath

Several Important Resolutions Passed for the Welfare of the Brahmin Community

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, May 24.
The newly elected national executive committee of the All India Brahmin Federation took oath on Sunday and reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the interests of the community, resolving to work with dedication and sincerity. Newly elected National President Pradeep Jyoti (Kerala), General Secretary Pandit Yashpal Tiwari (Punjab), Treasurer Advocate Keshavrao Kondapalli (Andhra Pradesh), Women’s Wing President N. Malini (Karnataka), Youth Wing President Naveen Kumar (Delhi), Secretary Administration Umadhar Pathak (Uttar Pradesh), and others were administered the oath by Election Officer Shekhar Shukla (Punjab).
In the meeting of the National Executive Council members and the newly elected executive committee held under the chairmanship of Dr. Pradeep Jyoti, senior office bearers decided to visit various states across the country and strengthen social, constructive, creative, and organizational activities through dialogue and interaction with members of the community.
Several important resolutions for the welfare of the Brahmin community were passed during the meeting. President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti stated that the meeting demanded implementation of reservation based on economic criteria, freeing temples from government control, establishment of Brahmin Welfare Corporations in all states, and taking relief-oriented measures according to the local needs and conditions of Brahmin communities in different states. Dr. Jyoti said that in the present time, misleading, baseless, factually incorrect, and divisive messages and information are being circulated at various levels, along with issues related to inappropriate forms of address, and therefore the government needs to take concrete steps in this regard.
During the meeting, outgoing General Secretary Pandit Padamprakash Sharma suggested that the organization should urge the Central Government to take strong measures to curb the spread of misleading, false, and baseless information on social media platforms. He said that false, unverified, and accusatory information concerning various sections of society is frequently circulated on social media, which could increase disputes and hostility among communities, making strict control over such incidents necessary.
Senior office bearers and executive members present during the meeting included Shekhar Shukla (Punjab), outgoing General Secretary Pandit Padamprakash Sharma (Uttarakhand), Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha State President Pandit Kesari Chandra Bhanwarlal Sharma (Rajasthan), senior office bearers and organizing committee conveners S. Raghuramaiah (Andhra Pradesh) and Jaganmohan Sharma (Telangana), Rajan Unni (Tamil Nadu), Subramanyam Mosad (Tamil Nadu), Prabhat Mishra (Odisha), Subhash Parashar (Rajasthan), Lokendra Sharma (Rajasthan), Sandeep Sharma (Uttarakhand), Krishnamohan Jha (Bihar), Ramavatar (Rajasthan), Mani S. Tiruvalla (Kerala), Sanjeev Sharma (Punjab), Haricharan Das (Odisha), Mayank Tyagi (Delhi), Rekha Chaturvedi (Maharashtra), Mrs. Padma (Tamil Nadu), Satyamurthy (Telangana), R. Ramprasad Narasimhan (Kerala), Rajendra Sharma (Madhya Pradesh), and more than 150 members of the National Representatives Assembly from various states across the country, who participated and expressed their views.
Messages sent by representatives from Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Meghalaya, and Assam were also read out during the meeting. In their messages, they conveyed best wishes for the successful organization of the meeting and expressed their support for all decisions taken during the session.
