
Discussion on Economic Reservation and Freeing Temples from Government Control at Brahmin Federation Meeting

The meeting of the National Executive Council Members of the All India Brahmin Federation has commenced in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, with representatives from 25 different states across the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, participating in the event. During the two-day meeting, detailed discussions were held on several important issues, including reservation based on economic criteria, freeing all temples in the country from government control, formation of Brahmin Welfare Corporations at the national and state levels, and matters related to the UGC.

During the elections conducted under the supervision of Election Officer Shekhar Shukla, Dr. Pradeep Jeothi was elected National President, Pandit Yashpal Tiwari as General Secretary, Advocate Keshavrao Kondapalli as Treasurer, N. Malini as Women’s Wing President, IT expert Naveen Kumar as National Youth Wing President, and Umadhar Pathak as National Secretary Administration. The remaining expanded executive committee will be announced later by the President.
On this occasion, President Dr. Jeothi said that issues concerning the interests of the community would be effectively raised before appropriate forums and every possible effort would be made for the development and progress of society.

On Sunday, a meeting of national representatives will be held with the newly elected executive committee, and in the open session, state representatives will present information regarding activities in their respective states. Discussions will also be held regarding the Federation’s future programs and activities.
The venue has been grandly decorated for the event. The auditorium has been dedicated in memory of former Federation President late Kotashankar Sharma, while the entrance gate has been adorned in honor of Pandit Bhanwarlal Sharma. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the guests.

Earlier, at the commencement of the meeting, Federation President Dr. Pradeep Jeothi, outgoing General Secretary Pandit Padamprakash Sharma, Treasurer Advocate Keshavrao Kondapalli, Election Officer Shekhar Shukla, senior office bearer Yashpal Tiwari, Women’s Wing President N. Malini, Program Convener and Andhra Federation President S. Raghuramaiah, Telangana Federation President Jaganmohan Sharma, Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha State President Pandit Kesari Chandra Bhanwarlal Sharma, along with Rajan Unni, Subramanyam Mosad, Prabhat Mishra, Subhash Parashar, Lokendra Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Krishnamohan Jha, Ramavatar, Mani S. Tiruvalla, Sanjeev Sharma, Haricharan Das, Mayank Tyagi, Rekha Chaturvedi, Padma, Satyamurthi, R. Narasimhan, and Rajendra Sharma, along with more than 150 members of the National Executive Council from different states, were accorded a grand welcome by the organizing committee.
At the beginning, Program Convener and Andhra Federation President S. Raghuramaiah and Telangana Federation President Jaganmohan Sharma welcomed the guests and provided information regarding the organization of the Brahmin Federation meeting.

Federation National President Dr. Pradeep Jeothi presented the outline of future plans and programs while highlighting the efforts being made to strengthen organizational unity and work for the welfare and development of the community. He stated that the organization is making every possible effort to undertake welfare-oriented activities after studying the suggestions and needs of society members.
Outgoing General Secretary Pandit Padamprakash Sharma highlighted the work and achievements during his tenure and said that with the trust and cooperation of society members across the country, the Federation has been effectively conducting various programs and activities while raising community-related issues at appropriate forums to provide relief to society members.
Treasurer Advocate Keshavrao Kondapalli presented the income and expenditure details of his tenure and stated that the organization’s income had been utilized transparently and the accounts had been verified and certified by authorized representatives. He further said that the organization continues to generate income through membership and the availability of reserve funds remains secure.
