Federation to Make Every Effort for the Welfare of the Brahmin Community – S.D. Sharma

Jaipur, July 6, The two-day National Convention of the All India Brahmin Federation concluded on Sunday at Narayan Dham, Gopal Bari, Jaipur, under the chairmanship of the Federation’s National President and former Chairman of the Rajasthan Devasthan Board, Pandit S.D. Sharma.
Addressing the gathering, Pandit S.D. Sharma assured representatives of the Brahmin community from across the country that the Federation would make every possible effort for the welfare, empowerment, and protection of the community. He stated that the organization would actively work towards resolving community issues and pursuing various demands at appropriate levels.
National Organising General Secretary Ashwani Tiwari informed that more than 150 delegates from 25 states participated in the four sessions of the two-day convention. Following marathon meetings, open-house discussions, presentation of the national report, state-wise deliberations, core group meetings, comprehensive brainstorming, and detailed consultations, the delegates unanimously adopted 14 resolutions in the interest of the Brahmin community.
The resolutions covered several key issues, including ensuring the autonomy, development, and security of temples; providing relief to economically weaker members of the Brahmin community based on economic backwardness; establishing Brahmin Welfare Boards in states where they have not yet been constituted and creating a similar mechanism at the national level; promoting the economic upliftment of the community; and providing educational and career guidance to adolescents and youth. A comprehensive 14-point policy document was prepared to guide the Federation’s future initiatives.
To strengthen organizational activities and ensure regular state-level meetings for expanding the Federation’s presence across the country, senior Brahmin leader Mohan Prakash Sharma of Jaipur was appointed as the National Working President of the Federation.
National Secretary General Dronam Raju Ravikumar presented the organization’s progress report and future action plan. He informed the gathering that representatives from all participating states shared updates on their respective organizational activities and programmes during the open session.
National Coordination Secretary Ramesh Ojha stated that Federation Treasurer T.N. Sharma presented the financial statement and future financial roadmap during the convention.
The convention was attended by several prominent office-bearers and representatives, including Surya Kantham Sharma (National President, Women’s Wing – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh), Pankaj Mishra, Rajiv Lochan, Surendra Sharma, Mukesh Joshi, Ram Murti Sharma, Gaurav Mishra, Y.N. Sharma, Nidhi Mishra, Sadhana Mishra, Shailendra Shukla, Bharat Bhai Rawal, Pradeep Menon, Jitendra Bhardwaj, Suresh Dwivedi, K.C. Dave, and delegates from Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and several other states, who shared their views on various issues concerning the community.
At the beginning of the convention, Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha State President R.S. Jaimini welcomed delegates from across the country.
Senior organizational leader and newly appointed National Working President Mohan Prakash Sharma stated that the All India Brahmin Federation is a strong national platform for the Brahmin community and that every possible effort would be made through the organization to safeguard and promote the interests of Brahmins across the country.
