A two-day National Representatives Meeting of the All India Brahman Federation (AIBF) and state representatives will be organized on May 23 and 24 in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. In an official meeting notification issued in this regard, National President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti and National General Secretary Pandit Padam Prakash Sharma stated that various issues related to the welfare of the Brahmin community will be deliberated upon during the meeting, along with detailed discussions on organizational activities.
The program on May 23 will commence with a welcome address by Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Federation President S. Raghuramaiah, followed by an address to representatives from across the country by National President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti. National General Secretary Pandit Padam Prakash Sharma will present a report on the activities carried out during his tenure, while Treasurer Advocate Keshav Rao Kondapalli will present the financial report and expenditure details.
Following this, the election process for the new executive body will be conducted by Chief Election Officer Shekhar Shukla, and the upcoming National Working Committee will also be constituted. The first day’s proceedings will conclude with a vote of thanks by Telangana Brahmin Seva Sangh President Jaganmohan Sharma.
The election of the National Executive Committee of the Brahmin Federation was earlier scheduled during the National Representatives Meeting held in Kurukshetra in October 2025. However, due to the failure of the then-appointed Chief Election Officer and associates to conduct the election process as per organizational rules, the entire election process was cancelled. After appointing a new Election Officer, the process is now being completed in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
National President Dr. Pradeep Jyoti had subsequently expelled the previously appointed Chief Election Officer and associates from the organization and initiated further action to ensure that the election process is conducted in a lawful and transparent manner. The upcoming meeting is being organized under this process.
On May 24, Chief Election Officer Shekhar Shukla will announce the election results for the posts of National President, General Secretary, and Treasurer, following which the oath-taking ceremony will take place. The newly elected office-bearers will address representatives from across the country. During the proceedings, the organization’s future action plan and financial details will also be presented.
National General Secretary Pandit Padam Prakash Sharma stated that all necessary preparations for the National Representatives Meeting and the gathering of state representatives have been completed in Kurnool, and efforts are being made to ensure effective arrangements. He said that confirmations have been received from Brahmin representatives across all states regarding their participation in the meeting.
He further informed that the nearest airport is Hyderabad, from where transportation facilities are available, and representatives may reach the venue at their convenience. Senior-most representatives of the Brahmin Federation are also expected to attend the meeting. Former presidents of the organization have also been invited, whose guidance will benefit members of the Brahmin community across the country.
Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Federation President S. Raghuramaiah stated that responsibilities regarding preparations for the National Representatives Meeting and Executive Council Meeting have been assigned by the state unit, and necessary arrangements are being made accordingly. He appealed to all participating members to share their travel details and passport-size photographs in the designated meeting group so that arrangements can be managed more effectively.
Representatives of the Brahmin community from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are enthusiastically working towards the successful organization of the event.
